Venice Winners Announced

The Venice Film Festival wrapped up today, and winners were announced this afternoon. Here they are:

Golden Lion: Lebanon, Samuel Maoz
Silver Lion: Women Without Men, Shirin Neshat
Grand Jury Prize: Soul Kitchen, Faith Akin
Best Actor: Colin Firth, A Single Man
Best Actress: Ksenia Rappoport, The Double Hour
Marcello Mastroianni Prize for Young Performer: Jasmine Trinca, The Big Dream
Best Screenplay: Todd Solondz, Life During Wartime
Technical Contribution for Set Design: Sylvie Olive, Mr. Nobody

Not one multiple winner. I haven't heard much about any of the winning films, which doesn't necessarily mean we won't be hearing from them during the awards hunt, but the studios behind them had better get a move on if they want to pick up any buzz.
