I'm hoping to get to this one sometime this coming weekend. It's getting great reviews and has the coolest premise of any movie out this summer. Peter Jackson's involvement is always a plus, of course.

Lars and the Real Girl - A strange but likeable young man named Lars looks to end his isolation by getting a girlfriend. But his family is disturbed to learn that the girl is an anatomically correct doll he purchased on the internet. Lars and the Real Girl is a sincere, hopeful film with a knockout lead performance from Ryan Gosling.
