In addition to being filthy rich, billionaire industrialist Tony Stark is also a genius inventor. When Stark is kidnapped by a warlord in Afghanistan and forced to build a diabolical weapon, he instead uses his intelligence and ingenuity to construct an indestructible suit of armor and escape his captors. Once free, Stark discovers a deadly conspiracy that could destabilize the entire globe, and dons his powerful new suit on a mission to stop the villains and fight the throes of evil. His assistant Pepper Pots, friend Rhodey, and right-hand man Obadiah Stane all marvel at the change in the man they knew.

I'm looking forward to the second one since Mickey Rourke is playing Whiplash. Robert Downey Jr. did a great job in this but I like him in just about everything.
RDJ really did great things with Tony Stark. He and Gwyneth Paltrow had great chemistry, in my opinion.
